over 7 years ago – Wed, Aug 17, 2016 at 07:02:03 PM

 Lovely Backers,

We are just shy of 2 weeks left and chugging along.  Thank you all for the tweets, emails and social media that you are doing.  It is great to see others share this project with people.  It means a lot to me.

Here's an image from the company that will be doing the slipcases (this is for all 3 of the deluxe hardcovers).  Once I get them, I'll try to figure out how to customize it.  If you want one, add $50 to your pledge.

Here's some new art that I've been posting on Social Media, connect with me and you can see even more.

And here's a new page I made last night:

Ok, well that's it for me, I'll give another update in a few days.  Thank you all and please help me spread the word!  This is all about community and building something special together.  I love your comments and questions, so keep them coming.

Andres

Pay It Forward time!

Shards: Volume 1 Graphic Novel Anthology [In Hiatus Studios]

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1397729005/shards-volume-1-graphic-novel-anthology-in-hiatus

This looks quite interesting.  These guys are funded and hitting stretch goals!

Shards: Volume I is the culmination of years of our individual artistic and literary sensibilities and professional development. These five stories span epic adventures to quiet moments. They explore the coming of age of young royalty to heroes battling wars far greater than themselves. Humans, sorcerers, magical creatures and fantastic powers take the pages as we weave stories of celebration, humor, tragedy and loss. Each shard of this first volume shows a sliver of these worlds and the stories of the characters that inhabit them.

Smashing Stretch Goals! - TIME Stories!
over 7 years ago – Mon, Aug 15, 2016 at 12:10:09 AM

 Hello Backers!

Stoked to tell you all that we are over 200 Backers, which means we smashed through the TIME Stories print-n-play for all backers!  Consider this a free gift to everyone who backs this project (a gift that took me 80 hours to make).  It will be delivered as a download to all backers after the campaign, probably in the month of September.

Because of this stretch goal, we have a number of new backers at the Pioneer level who are interested in TIME Stories.  I would like to invite you all to download on the campaign page the first chapters of books 1,2 and 3 and see if the graphic novel is something that you might like.  I will tell you this much, we worked hard to make a good story.  Thank you.

We have a new review, feel free to share it along:

https://texscomicsnewsandreviews.blogspot.com/2016/08/pariah-missouri-book-one-review.html

This week, I'm going to hit it hard, we have 15 more days and I hope we keep this momentum.  Please continue to help by sharing the project on Facebook, Twitter and through emails.  It all helps.

Here's some new art!

Thank you all again!  I am over-whelmed and stoked to bring this to you.

Have a great week and I'll touch base again later this week.

Keep in touch here or on social media

Andres

Happy Thursday!

Hello Backers!

I hope you are all having a great week!  I am busy working on the book, painting pages, writing more epilogue and promoting the books.

We still have 19 days which I'm hoping that we can continue to push forward and let people know about the project.

Here's a new news article:

http://www.firstcomicsnews.com/?p=231401

Here's some new art for ya.  For book 3 I am inserting a mini-story in it about Toro's origin.  Here's a work-in-progress of one of the pages.

Ok, it's 12:27am and I'm tired, so I'm going to bed.  Going to hit it hard these next couple of days.

Time to Pay It Forward!  A double dose this time.  (I will do my best not to over-do this)

Clovis - A Young Mother and her Giant Sloth, 12,000 BCE

Ok, this looks awesome, "On a cold morning in North America, 12,000 B.C, a young mother buries her child. Alone, she sees a new sight - a plume of dark smoke drifting over the distant glaciers. Hoping its appearance is connected to her son, she follows it. By luck, she befriends a giant sloth, and the two trek the expanse of the north, tracking the dark drifting plume."

Molekei Vol.2 "On raw ground" Sci-fi trash comic

Another great project: First some words on the previous book and Molekei himself. He's badass, he's amish, he's gods scythe. He is chosen to redeem the sinners before he can find peace. It's trashy, funny and it's a homage to all the genres I grew up with and stuff I dig. I wanted the first issue to reflect my love for 50ties-80ties horror and sci-fi movies in general. And even more than the movies, the trailers of those films. It's fast paced and pumped with only cool stuff and wild ideas. All mixed up with modern media, fresh style and a main character which you have not seen before.

Happy Monday, 3 more weeks!
over 7 years ago – Mon, Aug 08, 2016 at 03:48:19 PM

 Good Morning Backers!

Good morning from cloudy Ventura, CA.  It's 9:09am this morning and Monday's are always my big day.  We have 3 weeks left and I can't believe it, half-way through and I hope that we keep on truckin'.  Thank you all for your hard work by backing and supporting the project.  I'm doing my part, sharing it in the day and working on the book at night.  Here's where we are with the stretch goals:

I spoke again to the SLIPCASES company.  They will be plain Black, with a bookcloth on them, I might be able to put some Pariah stamp or lettering on it, but I don't have one in my hands yet.  If you are a high-roller and want to shoot the dice on it, add $50 to your pledge and I'll order one for you.  I'm sure I can figure out a way to custom it with my awesome-juice.

For this week for me I'm going to hit it hard, try to get on some more podcasts and message boards.

If you know how to use Wordpress and Comic Easel and get webcomics on a site, please let me know, I'm interested in learning.  Also if you have a Cintiq or a Surface Pro 3-4, please let me know what you think of them, my Wacom Intuos is not cutting it anymore and I need something quicker.

Ok, that's it for me, keep kicking butt!  Thank you for the support!  Follow me on instagram and all that stuff, I don't just talk about Pariah, I do other things.  Here's a new page of book 3 I did this weekend.
